"Dandelions were called “fairy clocks” because their flowers open and close predictably. In Victorian Flower language, Dandelion symbolizes Love. It has also symbolized wishes, welcome, faithfulness and divination, grief and bitterness, and the sun."
As children we use to covet finding a bevy of matured Dandelions because all of us knew that if we made a wish and we could blow off all those fluffy seeds with one breath we would most certainly have our wish granted. Okay so maybe it doesn’t really work that way but it certainly was fun to do and exciting to think about!
This Dandelion Medallion is 1.25" in diameter and made of tarnish resistant Argentium Silver. It is offered in 2 versions:
The first is the Citrine Dandelion which has a 4mm Citrine cabochon in the center and it slides on a 16" braided natural brown leather cord with a stainless steel bayonet clasp.
The second version is the Topaz Dandelion it has a 4mm Topaz cabochon in the center and slides on a 16" 3mm round Iris Blue leather cord with a stainless steel bayonet clasp.
